What is the Value?

That is a fair question and something that has been asked of me when we first introduced the Black Belt Club to our kids class. I am looking for some elite kids. Kids who want to lead and learn to be leaders. I want students who need and want to excel. That is why this group is an exclusive group of children who can achieve.

So, I figured I would spend a little time to answer some of the common questions being asked.

What will the kids learn that is different from their normal class?

The kids will learn several very cool and exclusive curriculum that will not be taught in the normal classes. Some of the curriculum includes:

• Weapons such as bo staff, broadsword, straight sword, nunchuku, sai, kama, etc
• Elite self defense techniques
• Fighting concepts of elite fighting (combos, ground fighting, stand up)

What will the kids receive when they join the Black Belt Club?

• Special and exclusive Black Belt Club uniform
• Black Sash club patch
• 20% discount on marked pro shop items
• Discounts on seminars

What about testing?

• Free Testing
• Naturally, kids in the program will progress faster in the system than students in the regular program

Why your child needs to be a black belt

You have heard me talk about it. You may be wondering whether it is worth it.

I remember as a kid, all I ever wanted to become was a black belt. It was a sign of achievement and proficiency. It was something that was earned and not given. It was something that set me apart.

Kids want to be special, but they also want to belong.

Kids who are striving to achieve goals such as becoming a black belt learn early on that it takes hard work and determination to achieve in life. What better life lesson can we give kids for their future than the lesson of hard work pays off?

That is exactly the reason for starting the black sash club.

Kids will get the extra training, special attention, and the refinement they need to achieve the goal of black belt. The extra time training will allow them to achieve that goal of black belt in record time.

Your kids will belong to an exclusive group of achieving individuals. Kids in this group will not only get training in the martial arts, they will also be part of a group of young leaders in our community. Kids will be encouraged to find projects in the community that benefit others. Ideas we have in mind are litter clean up, raise money and food for Posey County Food Pantry, and other community projects.
