I am very pleased to announce that starting in October we will start to offer Cardio Kickboxing classes during the day. Cardio Kickboxing is a fun workout routine that combines great aerobic activity with fun and easy to follow martial arts techniques. I am happy to say that we are now offering Little Ninja classes during the day. These classes are great at teaching children the fundamentals of martial arts, coordination, confidence and is a lot of fun. Children learn in a fun game environment that helps kids role play and learn respect, confidence and self control. Little Ninjas that have participated in our program over a year have advanced successfully to our kids adult class. Many are ahead of other kids their own age simply because the experience they gain from this class.

Cardio Kickboxing is now a reality

I am very proud to annouce our new Cardio-Kickboxing instructor Jessie Chapman at the Mount Vernon Community Martial Arts.

Jessie is the mom of current student Logan in our Kung Fu Kids program. After hearing about our need to have a cardio instructor added to the many fun and envigorating programs offered at Community Martial Arts, Jessie decided she was up for the task.

I have spent some time training with Jessie and honestly feel she is going to knock your socks off with a fun aerobic punching and kicking workout that will not only challenge you, but keep you wanting more!

Jessie’s also enjoys reading books ALOT. Matter of fact, you rarely find her in the studio without one in hand. While she does enjoy cooking, she relents that she isn’t that good at it. Jessie is a stay at home mom for both Logan and her one year old Lilly.
